Moses came here as a stray kitten, timidly peeking out from under the barn.

Moses is a contributing editor to Chloe's Blog. It is not uncommon to see Moses and her favorite cat bird eating from the same dish. Bless her heart.

So Moses was hired to manage the barn and all the outside of Big Mill. She has done a fabulous job. She is still timid, but she loves to greet folks and will most assuredly peek into your room if you leave the curtains open.

She is an outside cat and we can feel safe knowing she is on duty.

Chloe Tuttle, Innkeeper
Chloe was born in the house that is now Big Mill Bed & Breakfast. Growing up on this country farm was idyllic: playing with her nephew Barney (two days her junior), climbing trees, swimming in the lake, riding mules, catching fireflies on hot summer nights and fishing in the creek that powered the Big Mill was, and still is, a piece of Heaven. The barns are still here, the fish still bite, the country store is the same …the fireflies still fascinate.

Before returning to Big Mill as an innkeeper, Chloe was a cook aboard a private sail boat for seven years, sailing from Maine to Guadeloupe, and primarily in the Bahamas. Now, she's been an innkeeper for 17 years ...and still loves it!

	Guy Livesay - Our wedding photographer - and Guy captures on camera all the wonderful butterflies, birds and critters Big Mill. Guy's website.
	Barney Conway - Wedding officiant, musician with Barney Conway and the Shadows, and owner of Palm Radio Productions. He's a fix-it fellow and all around great guy. He is also my nephew and was born in this house, two days after I was.
	Betsy Conway - great talent and we are lucky to have Betsy coordinating our Elopements. Betsy also runs her home business Needle Nuts and shows at Craft Fairs all over North Carolina. Yes, she's family!

And indispensible crew...

	Carlis and Faye keep the grounds perfect and we couldn’t do it without them.
	Bobby can fix anything even if it isn’t broken…when he needs help, he calls on Ricky or Susan. We have all adopted Bobby. He is my partner in saving our earth.
	Susan came to us originally as a B&B guest and is now our adopted redneck debutante. Susan is invaluable to us at Big Mill B&B, as a friend and as someone who can fix anything.
	Delores. How did we ever manage without her?.
	Charles and Tilly. We feel very lucky to have these nationally certified and State licensed massage therapists with us at Big Mill. Our guests appreciate them and return often for Tilley and Charles’ sensitive and healing touch.
	Kathy is our friendly consultant and invaluable, occasional Innkeeper.
	Monk Gurkin who rescues us all the time
	Jody, at Visibility Boosters, good friend, Facebook and blog consultant, all things social media and all-around internet marketing expert... always trying fun things to see what sticks.
	Charles & Ellen of Deep Creek Arts – former innkeepers and the best webmasters in the universe. They keep us ahead of the curve, also did our stellar mobile site.
	Jesse and Margaret have been an integral part of the Big Mill family for years. Jesse was the head cook at Griffin’s Quick Lunch for 52 years before he retired. They are good friends and great folks.
